We are looking for a passionate Senior Business Developer in Amsterdam to join our team and embark on our exciting multi-year journey to support and lead the movement for a more purposed economy.
In this role, you will work closely with our Founder and our Business Development, Client Success and Marketing teams. You will be responsible for turning client enquiries (fortunately for you and us, we don't ever do cold calling) into new business across our services.
You will also foster key client relationships and think with us on fine-tuning our global Business Development strategy.
We want to quickly grow the business now that we have a number of exciting new services in place, and you will be one of the key drivers behind that growth.

Your responsibilities in this role
Handling incoming enquiries from prospective clients, especially those from leading brands and professional services firms
Managing a small team of business developers
Working closely with our Trend Analysts to deliver custom client proposals that are fully 'on trend'
Engaging with existing key clients to expand accounts, in close cooperation with our Client Success, Marketing, and Content teams
Collaborating closely with TrendWatching's founder and other stakeholders on global, exciting growth strategies
The ideal candidate
You are an enthusiastic and energetic professional with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business development and managing B2B client relationships
You understand the internal dynamics and workflows of businesses ranging from start-ups to large corporations and can use this knowledge to best serve our current and future clients
You have excellent communication, consulting and business development skills, as well as a beyond-solid command of the English language, both spoken and written
You have solid time and project management skills (especially custom work requires close planning with our Trend Analysts)
You have experience in HubSpot CRM (this will be an immediate advantage)
You are detail-oriented
You will keep going until results have been achieved
